Release Notes

This release was tested in Windows Vista SP2 (Brazilian Version) with one and two display monitors. I'm using it with one display for a few days with no problems.

The adaptive timeout was improved in this new release. We have a couple of bugs fixed and a new command line option (-c, please see the help screen) to optionally enable the restart of timer when cursor movement is detected.

If the user moves the cursor or if the program detects that things are evolving, the timer is restarted. A timeout will occur only if the sidebar state remains the same over the wait period and also if the user does not move the cursor during the same period. The cursor movement logic must be enabled using the -c option. After the program finishes arranging the loaded gadgets, the adaptive timeout handling will be turned off and the program will wait a little more for the original remaining gadgets. When all original gadgets are arranged or the timeout period expires, whichever happens first, the program quits.

There is a user guide included in the setup package. This document has the same information of the web site,

The setup package is smaller, because the executable programs are now statically linked with C libraries and thus the setup package don't have to carry those libraries.
